Product composition
The shell and tube heat exchanger is composed of main components such as a tube box, shell, and tube bundle. The tube bundle is the core of a shell and tube heat exchanger, where the heat exchange tube serves as a thermal conductivity component that determines the thermal performance of the heat exchanger. Another basic component that has a significant impact on the thermal performance of heat exchangers is the baffle plate (or baffle rod). The tube and shell mainly determine the pressure bearing capacity and safe and reliable operation of the tube and shell heat exchanger.
operational principle
Shell and tube heat exchangers belong to inter wall heat exchangers, and the fluid channels formed inside the heat exchange tubes are called the tube side, while the fluid channels formed outside the heat exchange tubes are called the shell side. When the tube side and shell side pass through two different temperatures of fluids, the higher temperature fluid transfers heat to the lower temperature fluid through the heat exchange tube wall. The higher temperature fluid is cooled and the lower temperature fluid is heated, thereby achieving the purpose of the two fluid heat transfer process.
